Ashley Olsen has finalized the purchase of a full-floor condominium in New York City's Greenwich Village for $6.75 million. The sale, which was first reported in May, involved a limited liability company named 37 East 12th Street LLC.
The 3,028-square-foot apartment at 37 East 12th Street features two bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The unit boasts white oak interiors, arched ceilings, chevron-patterned walnut floors, and a kitchen with custom white oak cabinetry and honed marble countertops. Access to the apartment is provided by a private elevator entry, and it offers both north and south exposures.
The building itself is a 19th-century cast-iron structure that has been converted into six boutique, full-floor condominiums. Brokers from Douglas Elliman, including Madeline Hult Elghanayan, Dennis Mangone, and Kirk Rundhaug, handled the listing. Jared Seligman, also of Douglas Elliman, represented Olsen in the transaction.
This purchase marks a different real estate path for Ashley Olsen compared to her twin sister, Mary-Kate, who resides in a Turtle Bay townhouse with her husband Olivier Sarkozy. The sisters previously purchased a penthouse at 1 Morton Square in 2004 for $7.3 million, which they later sold for $7.7 million in 2010.
