US, Allies Condemn Iran's Plotting Against Dissidents

The United States, Australia, and European allies, along with other nations, have issued a joint statement condemning alleged plots by Iran-backed groups to target Iranian dissidents, journalists, and Jewish communities. The statement, released by the U.S. Department of State, specifically cited "lethal plotting" and other actions attributed to Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps-Intelligence Organization, Quds Force, and Ministry of Intelligence and Security.

The coalition of countries also condemned a recent series of attacks across Europe that were claimed by a pro-Iranian group known as Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamiya (HAYI). The allies emphasized that attempts to kill, kidnap, harass, intimidate, or attack individuals on their soil undermine national sovereignty and international norms.

"We stand united in our determination to protect our countries and our people against these threats," the statement read. "The Islamic Republic of Iran must halt these actions now."
