A suspected Pakistani drone was sighted over a forward village along the International Border in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials reported on Tuesday. The drone-like object, which had a blinking light, was observed moving from the Pakistan-occupied Kashmir side into Indian territory in the Sunderbani sector late Monday night. Security forces conducted a search of the area on Tuesday morning to ascertain if any payload, such as narcotics or weapons, had been airdropped. However, officials stated that nothing objectionable was recovered during the operation. The suspected drone reportedly returned to the Pakistan-occupied side after briefly hovering between Mahadev Gap and Kalal village.
