An Israeli drone strike on Friday evening killed three civilians and injured others near the al-Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, according to Wafa news agency. The drone targeted a vehicle near the camp entrance, and the casualties were taken to Shuhada Al-Aqsa Hospital.
Separately, an Israeli drone strike in Gaza City on Thursday killed at least three Palestinians when it hit a civilian vehicle in the al-Rimal neighborhood. Palestinian medics reported that Israeli forces operating in central Gaza killed at least one more Palestinian later that day. These actions follow Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's stated order for the IDF to seize more territory, which is seen as a violation of a truce deal.
Gaza’s Health Ministry stated that it recorded at least two Palestinian deaths and eight injuries over the previous 24-hour period. Since a ceasefire deal was signed in October 2025, the IDF has killed 1,007 Palestinians in Gaza and wounded 3,1655. The ministry's overall death toll since the start of the conflict in October 2023 is 73,018, though this is considered a significant undercount.
