Israel on high alert for potential Iran attack after Beirut strike

The strike in Beirut's Dahiyeh district was a direct response to Hezbollah firing toward Israeli territory, according to a joint statement from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz. Reports from Lebanon indicate three people were killed in the strike. The IDF Spokesperson's Unit confirmed ongoing assessments and readiness for various scenarios, urging the public to remain vigilant and follow Home Front Command instructions.
