The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) announced on Friday that repairs have been completed on a vital power line and other energy infrastructure essential for the safety of Ukraine's Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP).
The repairs, which took place under a temporary local ceasefire between Ukrainian and Russian forces, involved two locations: the 750 kilovolt Dniprovska power line and the switchyard of the Zaporizhzhya Thermal Power Plant. The latter facility helps supply electricity to the ZNPP via the backup 330 kV Ferosplavna-1 line.
