Speaking at a meeting of the Committee on Palestine in Cairo, Al Yamahi emphasized the critical stage of the Palestinian cause, requiring a unified Arab position and stronger parliamentary and diplomatic action.
He urged measures to counter settlement expansion and settler violence, and advocated for expanded international recognition of the State of Palestine, along with ensuring international protection for the Palestinian people. Al Yamahi also called for urgent support for Palestinian prisoners and detainees.
Furthermore, he stressed that the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip is an inherent right of the Palestinian people and an international obligation that should not be subject to any conditions.
