Israeli forces shot and wounded a 15-year-old Palestinian girl in the shoulder during a raid in the occupied West Bank town of al-Mughayyir, according to the Palestinian news agency Wafa. The girl was hospitalized in stable condition.
Wafa reported that Israeli forces fired live ammunition and tear gas during the operation, which also involved road closures. The agency also reported additional raids and alleged settler attacks across the West Bank, including in el-Bireh, Deir Abu Mishal, and As-Sawahira al-Sharqiya.
Separately, Israeli forces detained three Palestinians during raids in Azzun and Silwad, eastern Qalqilya and Ramallah respectively. Clashes between Israeli soldiers and Palestinians were reported in Tuqu, southeast of Bethlehem, where tear gas and sound bombs were used. Illegal Israeli settlers also reportedly attacked Palestinian agricultural fields near Nablus, causing crop damage.
In Tulkarm, two Palestinians were killed and at least four others wounded during Israeli military operations. Journalists covering the events were reportedly attacked, with one journalist wounded by shrapnel. Israeli bulldozers caused extensive damage to Tulkarm's infrastructure, including roads leading to the Martyr Thabet Thabet Government Hospital, which was under siege.
Meanwhile, in Jenin, Israeli military operations continued for the eighth consecutive day, resulting in the deaths of 16 Palestinians and the destruction of at least 100 homes, displacing many families. UN special rapporteurs warned of escalating violence and urged Israeli forces to cease excessive force and withdraw from the occupied West Bank.
