During a session at the United Nations, India's Permanent Representative, P Harish, addressed remarks made by Pakistan regarding Jammu and Kashmir. Harish firmly reiterated India's stance that all matters concerning the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir are strictly internal to India. He emphasized that Jammu and Kashmir 'is and will always remain an integral and inalienable part of India,' directly countering any external claims or interference. The Indian envoy also pointed out that the international community recognizes the importance of reform of the Security Council to make it fit-for-purpose to handle contemporary and future challenges.
