Hong Kong's largest international school group, the English Schools Foundation (ESF), has announced a new "through-train" arrangement that will link all its kindergartens to its primary schools. This initiative will commence from the September of next year. The new system guarantees pupils a continuous educational pathway from kindergarten all the way to secondary graduation. The ESF stated on Friday that this is the first time all its kindergartens will be directly connected to ESF primary schools. Families applying for a K1 place for the 2027-28 school year, which opens this September, will be subject to this new policy.
