Police in Lansing, Illinois, a Chicago suburb, issued a shelter-in-place order on Thursday as they conducted a manhunt for a suspect following a reported shooting. He was last seen wearing a black do-rag, black hoodie, and white surgical mask, heading south from 170th Street. Dispatch audio indicated that authorities were responding to a reported active shooter at a chemical plant located across the street from the Lansing Police Department on 170th Street. The audio also mentioned that a helicopter and K9 unit were deployed. A man in the audio stated that "The offender shot every foreign subject in the business."
