A'ja Wilson scored 32 points and Chelsea Gray tied a WNBA record with nine 3-pointers as the Las Vegas Aces defeated the Portland Fire 105-89 on Thursday night. The victory marked the Aces' fifth consecutive win.
Wilson, who also had 14 points in the opening of the second half, was 10 of 20 from the field and 11 of 13 at the free-throw line. She moved into 16th place on the WNBA’s career scoring list and 14th on the rebounding list. Gray finished with 29 points, making 9 of 13 from beyond the arc.
Jackie Young contributed 18 points, 10 assists, and eight rebounds for the Aces, while NaLyssa Smith added 12 points and 10 rebounds. Stephanie Talbot also grabbed 10 rebounds for Las Vegas.
