Crypto payments infrastructure firm Ripple has secured a preliminary Crypto Asset Service Provider (CASP) license in Luxembourg, a significant step towards full compliance with the European Union's Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation ahead of the July 1 deadline. The approval, received via a "Green Light Letter" from Luxembourg's financial regulator CSSF, allows Ripple to offer its comprehensive cryptoasset and stablecoin payment infrastructure to financial institutions and businesses across the entire European Economic Area.
