- Tesla issued a recall for these vehicles in early 2025, which included an over-the-air software update.
The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has closed an evaluation of 441,002 Honda Odyssey vehicles concerning unintended airbag deployment. The investigation focused on complaints of side airbags deploying unexpectedly. Honda issued a recall in April for certain 2018-2023 Honda Odyssey models to address this issue, reporting 25 injuries and no deaths.
Separately, NHTSA also closed an engineering analysis into approximately 376,241 Tesla Model 3 and Model Y vehicles from the 2023 model year over power steering loss. This closure follows a Tesla recall in early 2025 that addressed a power steering assist feature failure with an over-the-air software update.
