This feature aims to bring the 'spark' made online into real life, reducing the pressure of traditional first dates and focusing on shared activities.

Other apps like Bumble, Hinge, and Feeld have also hosted or are hosting similar in-person events. Data suggests a growing interest in these types of activities, with attendance for in-person dating events increasing significantly from 2022 to 2023. The approach acknowledges a perceived decline in the effectiveness of traditional dating apps and a desire among users, particularly Gen Z, for more organic social interactions.
