The office, which opened just over two years ago in April 2024, was primarily home to members of the app's content moderation team. The company signed a lease for a 143,610-square-foot space on Music Row.

A spokesperson for TikTok stated, "We have decided to close our Nashville office to streamline our operations and better align our teams for long-term growth." The company emphasized its commitment to its U.S. users, noting that "200 million Americans that create, discover and connect with what they love on TikTok." The closure comes as the tech giant realigns its operations. The Nashville office was located in the Moore Building on 19th Ave South.
