Teva Pharmaceuticals, a U.S. affiliate of Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd., announced new data from a real-world, decentralized study concerning the effects of AUSTEDO® (deutetrabenazine) tablets and AUSTEDO XR® (deutetrabenazine) extended-release tablets on Huntington's disease (HD) chorea. The study evaluated patient- and caregiver-reported quality of life impacts and symptom management. The findings indicate that treatment with AUSTEDO or AUSTEDO XR resulted in symptom improvement and subsequent enhancements across various quality of life measures. These data were presented at the Advanced Therapeutics in Movement & Related Disorders® Congress, held in Washington, DC.
