Silversea Cruises Partners with PerryGolf for New Golf-Focused Itineraries

Silversea Cruises is expanding its luxury travel offerings with a new collection of golf-focused voyages set to launch in 2027. The cruise line has partnered with PerryGolf, an international provider of golf travel experiences, to curate these specialized itineraries.

The new voyages aim to combine the luxury onboard experience of Silversea ships with access to some of the world's most prestigious golf courses. This initiative taps into the growing trend of niche and themed cruises, following examples like Game of Thrones or Formula 1-themed packages.

Passengers on these golf cruises will be able to play at renowned courses including Royal Liverpool Golf Club and Prince's Golf Club in England, Cabot Highlands – Castle Stuart Golf Links and Dumbarnie Links in Scotland, and Portstewart Golf Club – Strand Course in Northern Ireland. Additional international destinations include Spain's Camiral Stadium Course, Las Colinas Golf & Country Club, Son Gual Golf Mallorca, and Club de Golf Alcanada, as well as courses in Australia and New Zealand like Tasmania Golf Club, Otago Golf Club, Royal Wellington Golf Club, Cape Kidnappers Golf Course, and Kauri Cliffs Golf Course.

Bert Hernandez, President of Silversea, stated that the partnership with PerryGolf aims to provide guests with unparalleled access to celebrated golf courses, with all details managed for comfort and convenience.

Each golf cruise package will offer curated programs by PerryGolf, including guaranteed tee times and green fees, luxury transfers between the ship and the courses, lunch and refreshments at each venue, and access to practice facilities. One featured itinerary is a round-trip sailing from Southampton from August 14-25, 2027, focusing on the British Isles' golfing heritage, aboard the Silver Spirit. Another is a Mediterranean voyage from October 25 to November 3, 2027, on Silver Ray, highlighting Spanish courses. A longer 14-day journey from January 29 to February 12, 2028, on Silver Moon, will explore Australian and New Zealand golf destinations, sailing from Sydney to Auckland.
