The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) is investigating the suspected theft of approximately 47 cattle from a field in the south Co. Armagh area. The cattle were last observed in a field on the Macullagh Road, Newtownhamilton between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 23. The farmer reported the herd missing on Monday, May 25. The stolen cattle were of mixed colours and all carried identification tags. PSNI is appealing for witnesses who may have observed vehicles on rural roads during late evening or early morning hours, or who possess CCTV, dashcam, or doorbell footage that could assist the investigation. They are also seeking information on the whereabouts of the cattle or those responsible, as well as any knowledge of cattle being offered for sale under suspicious circumstances. Separately, PSNI is investigating the theft of a water drinker with distinctive quad tyres from a farm in Newry, Co. Down, which occurred between May 21 and May 23.
