Mondelez International has announced the appointment of Amit Banati as its new Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective July 1, 2026. Banati, a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the consumer goods sector, will report directly to Chair and CEO Dirk Van de Put.
Banati joins Mondelez from Kenvue, where he served as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to that, he held the positions of Vice Chair and Chief Financial Officer at Kellanova, formerly Kellogg Company. His career also includes significant leadership roles at Procter & Gamble, Cadbury Schweppes, and Kraft Foods, a predecessor company to Mondelez.
Luca Zaramella, who has served as CFO for over eight years, will transition to the role of Chief Operating Officer. In this new capacity, Zaramella will focus on the company's commercial operations, including its geographical regions, sales, marketing, and supply chain functions.
Dirk Van de Put expressed confidence in Banati's financial leadership and commercial acumen, highlighting his track record in global businesses and emerging markets. He also thanked Zaramella for his contributions as CFO and expressed anticipation for his continued leadership as COO.
