The course is scheduled to take place from December 1-3, 2026, at the IGP Institute in Manhattan, Kansas.
The training is designed to provide participants with practical, real-world skills. It combines six prerequisite online learning modules covering foundational maintenance and safety concepts with a two-and-a-half-day in-person session. This hands-on component includes instructor demonstrations and direct engagement with five types of conveying equipment: distributors, screw conveyors and bin sweeps, chain (drag) conveyors, belt conveyors, and bucket elevators.
Professionals who will benefit from this training include engineers, project managers, grain elevator operators, maintenance personnel, millwrights, and safety professionals. The program aims to help attendees sharpen their technical skills, avoid costly downtime, and learn best practices for equipment installation, operation, inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
