Chinese consumer electronics manufacturers SZ DJI Technology Co. Ltd. and Shenzhen Arashi Vision Co. Ltd., known as Insta360, have initiated competing patent infringement lawsuits against each other in a U.S. court concerning camera technologies.
DJI filed its legal action on Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. The company alleges that Insta360's recently launched Luna Ultra gimbal camera infringes upon four of DJI's utility patents, which cover gimbal control and tracking systems. The following day, DJI broadened its suit by including two additional claims related to design patent infringement.
