Choreographer Remo D'Souza Recalls Heart Attack, Thanks Salman Khan and Varun Dhawan for Support

Remo explained that he experienced discomfort after a workout, which intensified to the point where he struggled to stand and felt nauseous. Lizelle used an Apple Watch to check his ECG, and the concerning reading prompted them to rush to the hospital. Upon confirmation of a heart attack, Lizelle reached out to Salman Khan, who immediately reassured her, contacted the doctors, and remained in touch throughout Remo's surgery.

Varun Dhawan also extended his support, calling Lizelle to inquire about Remo's health despite battling COVID-19 himself. Lizelle connected Varun with the doctors, who updated him on Remo's abnormal ECG readings. The surgery, initially estimated to take 20 minutes, lasted nearly an hour, causing significant fear for Lizelle. However, Remo's surgery was successful, and he has since recovered.

The couple credited timely medical intervention, recognizing their body's warning signs, and the support of their friends in the film industry for helping them through this challenging period. The incident serves as a reminder that symptoms often dismissed as acidity can indicate more serious health issues.
