Patna-based tutor Raushan Anand has accused his rival, Faisal Khan, known as Khan Sir, of orchestrating the murder of Anand's brother, Prince Yadav, who died in Nepal. Anand made the sensational claim shortly after being released on bail for vandalism at one of Khan Sir's coaching centers.
Anand told reporters that while he was in jail, Khan Sir had his brother murdered and demanded justice. He also insisted that Khan Sir undergo a narco test to ascertain culpability. The Bihar police have remained tight-lipped regarding Prince Yadav's death in Biratnagar, Nepal, with media reports offering conflicting accounts.
Some reports suggest Yadav had fled to Nepal fearing arrest in connection with the attack on Khan's premises and was found dead in a Biratnagar hotel. Other reports indicate Yadav was wounded in retaliatory firing by Khan's bodyguards on June 3 and succumbed to his injuries in Biratnagar, where he had been taken by associates fearing further retribution.
Khan Sir, who had an FIR lodged against him by an injured bodyguard, released a video message expressing sadness over Yadav's death and offering condolences to Anand, while refuting the allegations as false. Meanwhile, the court that granted Anand bail urged both parties to engage in healthy competition and behave appropriately, not like criminals.
Political leaders have weighed in, with BJP MP Manoj Tiwari referring to the situation as 'coaching mafia' on full display. JD(U) leader Sunil Kumar stated that the police are investigating the matter thoroughly, and all guilty parties will be brought to justice. Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav called for a high-level probe into the suspicious death/murder, emphasizing the need for the post-mortem report to clarify the cause of death and facilitate the investigation.
