Blue Sage Solutions has partnered with Kinective to simplify the integration of digital mortgage lending technology with the core banking and servicing systems of banks and credit unions. This collaboration aims to overcome the complex and costly challenge of core integrations, which has been a significant hurdle for financial institutions seeking to modernize their mortgage operations.
The partnership will leverage Kinective's Gateway platform to standardize connectivity between Blue Sage's Digital Lending Platform, including its loan origination system (LOS), point-of-sale (POS) tools, TPO portal, and servicing solutions, and the financial institutions' existing core systems. This integration is designed to reduce duplicate data entry, streamline workflows, and minimize manual reconciliation efforts, ultimately providing a more unified view of the borrower or member.
For many community banks and credit unions, mortgage origination and servicing platforms have historically operated in silos separate from their core banking systems. This fragmentation leads to inefficiencies and hinders the delivery of a seamless digital experience for consumers. The Blue Sage-Kinective partnership seeks to bridge this gap, enabling lenders to adopt best-in-breed technology and compete more effectively with larger institutions.
Carmine Cacciavillani, founder and president of Blue Sage Solutions, stated that the partnership will create a more connected environment where lending and core banking systems work together seamlessly. Dan Snyder, executive vice president of product at Kinective, added that the collaboration helps financial institutions access the technology they need to compete and serve consumers better.
The move comes at a time when regional and community institutions are under pressure to enhance their digital mortgage offerings while managing legacy systems and budget constraints. By utilizing a pre-built connectivity layer, the partnership aims to shorten implementation timelines compared to custom point-to-point integrations, making it easier for institutions to upgrade their systems.
