The 21-year-old winger signed a contract with the Bundesliga club through June 2031.
Moreira joined Lyon from Sporting last year for 2 million euros. Last season, he made 37 appearances across all competitions for Lyon, scoring eight goals and providing 11 assists. Leverkusen sporting director Simon Rolfes described Moreira as a fast, agile, and skillful attacker with excellent finishing ability and vision, stating his pace and intense style of play are a perfect fit for the team.
