Australian stock exchange operator ASX Ltd announced that its Chief Financial Officer, Andrew Tobin, intends to retire. Tobin, who joined ASX in 2022, leads the company's finance, treasury, strategy, and corporate affairs teams. He has agreed to remain in his position until a successor is appointed.
Interim CEO Darren Yip acknowledged Tobin's significant contributions over the past four years, particularly as the company navigated a challenging operating environment. ASX has recently been under increased regulatory scrutiny following operational issues, including a company-name mix-up in August 2025 and an outage of its announcements platform in December 2025.
The company reiterated that Anthony Attia, who was appointed as the new CEO from Euronext, will officially assume his role on September 1.
