Trade between China and Brazil reached a record high in the first half of 2026, driven by a surge in Chinese electric vehicle exports to South America’s largest economy and robust Brazilian shipments of crude oil and beef to China.
According to a report by the Brazil-China Business Council (CEBC), Brazil’s exports to China jumped 22% year over year to $58.3 billion between January and June. Imports from China rose 8% to $38.5 billion during the same period.
