Marshall Strachan and Kieran Lindsay have received life sentences for the murder of John Taylor. Both men are required to serve a minimum of 18 years before they can be considered for parole. The murder took place on October 18, 2024, in Kilwinning, North Ayrshire. Taylor was fatally stabbed in the abdomen by Strachan as he stood on his own doorstep. Lindsay was also implicated in the attack. Kiey O'Connor, who was responsible for driving Strachan and Lindsay to and from the scene, was initially charged with murder.
