The Sikh clergy at the Akal Takht have declared Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann as 'Guru Dokhi' and 'Khalsa Panth Virodhi', accusing him of lying about a purported objectionable video. The clergy stated that forensic reports confirmed the video's authenticity and that it was not AI-generated.
According to Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargajj, the secretariat had written to the chief minister in January after he expressed openness to a forensic examination of the video. However, no response was received. Subsequently, the Akal Takht secretariat had the video examined by two laboratories.
