Sanders endorses Bush's comeback bid

Sanders announced his support on social media platform X, stating that Bush "will take on AIPAC and other billionaire-backed special interests" and help create a government that "works for all not just the powerful and well-connected." He expressed pride in endorsing her again to represent the district.

Bush responded on X, calling herself "honored" by Sanders' endorsement and thanking him for his support of her movement. She stated that upon returning to Congress, she would continue their work to transform the country.

Bush, formerly part of the progressive group known as "the Squad," launched her comeback campaign in October. Her 2024 primary loss was attributed to significant spending by AIPAC and other groups backing Bell. Bush has been a vocal critic of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and U.S. support for Israel's military actions, calling for an end to the "U.S. government support for Israeli military occupation and apartheid."
