The Pentagon has released a fresh batch of declassified files concerning unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP), including never-before-seen footage and documents. This latest release contains 41 files, comprising over a dozen videos, three images, and numerous PDF documents, with records dating from 1953 to 2025.
The release follows an executive order from President Trump calling for the declassification of such documents. This marks the fifth drop of files, with the US defense department promising more to come on a rolling basis.
Among the newly released materials is video footage captured over the Gulf of Oman in 2021, appearing to show a dark, approximately 4-foot-diameter 'cold orb' moving in irregular patterns. Another video, recorded by a US military sensor camera in the Middle East in 2025, shows a round sphere traveling in a straight line over an urban residential area.
A declassified FBI document includes an account from a former military pilot who witnessed white lights exhibiting unusual movement patterns between Boston and Dublin in October 2023. The pilot described these lights as starting dim, growing brighter, and then disappearing, with some remaining stationary while others moved erratically.
Footage from the Pacific Ocean in 2019 shows a black sphere that appears to vanish and then reappear, visibly quivering as it drifts. A 1953 document from the US Naval Photographic Interpretation Center analyzed videos from Montana and Utah, concluding that the observed objects' characteristics were inconsistent with natural phenomena.
