Boumzough was identified in CCTV footage approaching a children’s play area before firing a single fatal shot into Rene’s chest. He was found guilty at Woolwich Crown Court on Friday, June 26, following a two-week trial. Detective Chief Inspector Alison Foxwell stated that following the murder, a direct plea was made to the community and attendees of the event.
