Man convicted of murder after shooting 15-year-old at west London music festival

Aderahman Boumzough, 25, has been convicted of the murder of 15-year-old Rene Graham, who was shot dead at a west London music festival. The shooting occurred shortly after 7:20 p.m. on Sunday, July 21, during a family music event in Emslie Horniman’s Pleasance Park in Ladbroke Grove. Boumzough was identified in CCTV footage approaching a children’s play area before firing a single fatal shot into Rene’s chest. He was found guilty at Woolwich Crown Court on Friday, June 26, following a two-week trial. Detective Chief Inspector Alison Foxwell stated that following the murder, a direct plea was made to the community and attendees of the event.
