Richard Graydon, a fugitive for two decades who had been featured on 'America's Most Wanted,' was arrested on July 16 while sailing on the East River in New York. Graydon had reportedly used more than a dozen aliases and was described as a "master yachtsman, a world traveler, and internationally connected."
In recent years, Graydon had assumed roles in the biotech industry, presenting himself as an experienced oncologist. In October 2022, Atossa Therapeutics announced his hiring as interim chief medical officer, citing his experience in CAR-T cell therapy. Subsequently, in March, Immix hired Graydon, describing him as a board-certified hematologist-oncologist with extensive experience in clinical development at major pharmaceutical companies and involvement in the approval of seven drugs, including best-selling cancer medicines.
However, Stat reported that these claims could not be verified, and Immix did not respond to requests for comment. Following his arrest, Immix terminated Graydon's employment, stating that his short tenure had no material effect on the business.
