Serhii Beskrestnov, a close associate of former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, has declined a new position within the Defense Ministry following Fedorov's dismissal. Beskrestnov stated that for moral reasons, he could not remain in the ministry without Fedorov, whom he joined as a personal advisor.
Instead, Beskrestnov accepted a role as a presidential advisor on defense technologies.
