Brazil's coffee crop came in larger after harvest, with field samples showing arabica yields better than pre-harvest data implied. Leonardo Rossetti, StoneX Brazil Market Intelligence Analyst, explains what the post-harvest review of the Brazilian coffee crop found and where arabica and robusta production now sit. Arabica drove the revision higher, while robusta moved only slightly as lower output in Espirito Santo was offset by Rondonia. Heavy rain in June and July affected coffee quality in some regions and increased the share of beans that fell to the ground before harvest, a separate question from total production volume.
