'Why don't we show any outrage?': Iran executions expose West's silence

Iranian Human Rights Advocate Tina Kordrostami questions why the West is no longer showing outrage as Iran carries out public executions and intensifies its crackdown on dissidents. “Finally, we’re having some obvious pieces of evidence that we can share with the West because time and time again, we’ve been questioned about the information that we are sharing,” Ms Kordrostami told News24 host Chris Kenny. “Showing these videos is painful, but it speaks for everything we’ve been talking about for the last few months. “What we just saw right now, there was a protest because of those executions and about 300 people were taken into custody, 200 were injured, there are another four executions coming up. “Why is it that suddenly in the West we are now supportive of an execution? Why is it that we don’t show any outrage anymore to this barbaric method of dealing with the law?”
