Western communities can’t become desensitised to Iran’s atrocities

Foundations of Defence for Democracies Research Analyst Janatan Sayeh says he doesn’t want the international community to be desensitised to the atrocities the Iranian regime is committing. “We don’t want this situation to be normalised by the international community to just assume that’s an ordinary day in Iran where people get publicly hanged,” he told News24 host James Bolt. “Their single aim there is to deter the public, terrorise the population. “Iranians do not see this as normal … they see this as losing the main infrastructure which is the youth.”
