‘We cannot stop the spread’: Agriculture Minister on H5 bird flu

Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry Minister Julie Collins says the spread of H5 bird flu cannot be stopped. ​“Certainly, the news about the little penguin, I think, will upset many Australians, but we have been very clear that this is what we will expect to see as the H5 bird flu does make its way across the country,” Ms Collins told News24 Political Editor Andrew Clennell. ​“We are doing everything we can as a government, but we cannot stop the spread of this virus.”
