News24 host Andrew Bolt says Pauline Hanson has transformed One Nation into a more serious political force after major party appointments. “It's been a very big day for One Nation, and a bad one for the Albanese government,” Mr Bolt said. “It's not just that the latest Redbridge poll shows One Nation again the most popular party in Australia … But also significant are the moves One Nation has just made to become more serious. “Hanson’s chief of staff James Ashby has appointed someone to replace him, Chris Taylor. A very impressive hiring. “Ashby himself will become One Nation's party director, a new role, overseeing campaigning around the country. “Hanson also announced her candidates for Victoria's upper house – the lower house candidates will be announced later. “And Hanson also created the headlines by banning the ABC and The Guardian Australia from her press conference, a move that will delight her big donor, Gina Rinehart.”
