Monoculture debate reignites as Howard weighs in on Australia’s future

The reason it has failed is not because of the vast majority of migrants who have brought the best of their foods and culture to Australia, while happily and gratefully embracing the Australian way of life. The point at which multiculturalism falls apart is radical Islamism. Its ideology is incompatible with Australian customs, democracy and our Judaeo-Christian values. It's also incompatible with Australian law. Its most extreme adherents advocate Sharia Law, forced child marriage, female genital mutilation and violence against non-Muslims.”
