On tonight’s episode of Paul Murray Live, News24 host Paul Murray examines new figures suggesting Labor's 5 per cent home deposit scheme is increasingly benefiting higher-income earners instead of those most in need. “New figures showed that more than 35 per cent of first-home buyer guarantees granted since Labor removed income caps went to households that would have previously been ineligible,” Mr Murray said. “About 10 per cent of the 17,000 individuals who received the 5 per cent guarantee since October last year are earning over $190,000 per annum.”
