US to help Congo stop the spread of Ebola virus as cases surpass 7,000

America’s Centres for Disease Control has deployed personnel to the Democratic Republic of the Congo to stop the spread of the Ebola virus. It is now the fastest-spreading strain of Ebola, with more than 7,000 cases and counting.
