9/11 terror attack caused a ‘seismic shift’ in aviation that continues today

RMIT Aviation Academy Senior Manager Justin Brownjohn says the September 11 terror attacks caused a “seismic shift” in aviation. “We now have all these restrictions that were implemented,” Mr Brownjohn told News24. “Now it’s all about technology: how can we improve; how can we proceed through airports more optimally whilst maintaining all of these restrictions.”
