The US Army has reportedly burned through virtually all of its highly accurate long-range missiles during the Iran war. The alarming drawdown of the stockpile could leave US President Donald Trump facing tougher choices if major strikes against Tehran resume. Three sources claimed the Army had expended much of its supply of the precision weapons, which cost more than $US1 million each. The depletion has sparked concerns that Washington could be forced into riskier manned bombing missions. The White House rejected the reports, with Trump insisting America has “far more munitions than anyone in the world.”
