UK citizens given ‘punishing scream’ on their phones alerting them of wildfires

Writer and Broadcaster Esther Krakue says the UK government’s wildfire alert was “ridiculously manic”. Ms Krakue told News24 Digital Presenter Gabriella Power that it emitted a “punishing scream” on her phone. “I thought, hold on, but there’s not actually any wildfires.”
