TV host mocks Greens' ‘inclusivity’ after ‘poor old’ Sarah Hanson-Young’s leadership defeat

News24 host Rowan Dean mocked Sarah Hanson-Young’s loss to David Shoebridge for the Greens leadership, highlighting what he saw as the “inclusive” left’s hypocrisy. “You’ve got to feel sorry for poor old Sarah Hanson Young; I mean, reality has a tendency of whacking her in the face,” Mr Dean said. “She discovered this week that politics can be brutal … you mean you didn’t win? “They rejected a woman; they rejected a person of colour. “Maybe she should join the teals.”
