TV host rips into Barrie Cassidy over ‘out of touch’ immigration blunder

News24 host Rita Panahi sharply criticised journalist Barrie Cassidy for his recent comments on immigration polling, calling his views misguided and dismissing his stance as consistently out of touch. “There's a lot of polling around immigration; 52 per cent would be at the lower end of those who want to see mass migration reduced," Ms Panahi said. “Barry being wrong on so many levels at the same time, he's got a bit of a bandana-man sort of thing going on about him. “You just listen to him taking the opposite point of view, and you'll probably be right.”
