Writer and broadcaster Esther Krakue says the way US President Donald Trump has handled tensions with the UK and his visit to Ireland is “really not very good”. “I must say I think the way Donald Trump has handled this geopolitically has been really not very good,” Ms Krakue told News24 Digital Presenter Gabriella Power. “I don’t really see the point of having allies if you treat your allies like enemies. “This whole conversation around the Falkland Islands and reunifying Ireland. “I don’t know if he remembers the Troubles of the 80s, but that really caused a lot of national strife, and lives, lives were lost in the Troubles.”
