Outcry as ABC refers to war memorial upgrades as a ‘war theme park’

Shadow Veterans’ Affairs Minister Michael McCormack says he was “angered” by the ABC referring to the Australian War Memorial upgrades as a “war theme park”. “To think they even described as the Australian War Memorial and the upgrades as a war theme park,” Mr McCormack told News24. “Everybody I’ve spoken to who’s been to the new galleries remark as to its importance; it's significant in telling the story about service and sacrifice. “For the ABC to do this, it just angers me.”
